Well Sophia has been obsessed with ballet for the past year, ever since she discovered the cartoon Angelina Ballerina( she likes both versions, the old one and the new computer animated one). But with the move, getting settled, a new baby, and so on looking for a dance class was on the back burner. Last month she started a parks and rec Ballet/tap class. After we went shopping for the shoes and leotard she kept asking if today was the day she went to class. She was just so excited. She loved every minute of class. She would come home and practice things she learned in class. Set up her own little studio and take out her shoes to put on. She still tries to dance on point and get frustrated that she can't. She doesn't realize that you need special shoes for that and lot more strength in her muscles than she's got right now. Tip toeing will have to do for now. These first few photos were taken on her first day of class before we left the house.
How excited and cute is she?!
The rest are a few weeks later at the studio.
