Train Museum {Nor Cal}

One of our outing with Grandma and Grandpa Holt was the Sacramento Train Museum. Sophia loved running around seeing all of the huge trains and then up on the 2nd floor they had a whole little Thomas the train area for kids.

**SOOC**

Outside of the museum was a nature store with this wooden bear. Sophia became friends with him very quickly. She is trying to hug him.

Cousins {Nor Cal}

**Still SOOC shots**
Sophia had so much fun with the girls, Brittany and Katelyn. Sophia has spent a lot of time with her cousins over the past few months and it has surprised me how well she plays with them, because most of them of so much older than her. We met them at a park and they went on a train ride and played at a playground.

Riding the rocking horse with Grandma
Then we went back to their house to jump and play dress-up

6 Week trip- First stop {Nor Cal}

The last two weeks Sophia and I have been enjoying Grandma and Grandpa Holt. They have taken such good care of us and Sophia has loved being around them from the minute we got off the plane and found them at the baggage claim. We have been spoiled with dinner cooked for us, laundry done, toys, parks, outings, and trips to the fabric store/sewing machine store.

Rob is home studying for USMLE step 2 so we are on a west coast adventure. Our next stop is Las Vegas to see my grandparents, aunt and uncle, and some roommates from college.

All of the following photos are SOOC, no editing at all. I feel all exposed by posting such photos. I've become addicted to editing... I love just a little lighting, sharpening, and color boosting. Anyhow I don't have my laptop with me that has my editing program on it. I hope you all enjoy anyhow.

and the good old wild turkeys eating and running through the yard (we also saw deer every day, but I never got any good shots of them )

Annapolis- Crab legs and USNA

This was our second day trip over Labor Day weekend. First stop when we arrived into town was a seafood buffet. Crab legs are my favorite. I was in heaven.

There was a chance of rain all day so it was pretty cloudy most of the day. Thank goodness it didn't poor until our drive home.

We toured the US Naval Academy. I just thought it would be fun to see the campus and find out a little about the school.

The Chapel

These last 3 photos were all taken inside the dorms.

West Virginia- Wild and Wonderful

The last two weekends have been so nice. Rob's been on chronic pain which is a M-F, no call involved kind of rotation. Sophia and I love these rotations because Daddy is around a whole lot more. We were spoiled over Labor Day weekend when Rob had a 4 day weekend. We took advantage and did a couple of day trips.
Our first stop...

This train track with the beautiful green trees all around is the first thing we saw when we got off of the shuttle bus. Harpers Ferry is a national park that not only has beautiful nature, but a cute little old town to explore.

Sophia loves to give us hugs all day long

We climbed up some steps to find a beautiful old church and we turned around and saw this view of the railroad track.

Sophia found a bed of rocks and this is what she did with them.

We loved exploring all the little nooks and crannies

Then we walked along a foot bridge that ran right along the railroad track. You can see Rob ahead of me taking in the view.

Highlight of the day for Sophia was when we saw the train.

We promised her that before we left she could throw rocks in the river

Absolutely beautiful and amazing. We plan to go back again before we move.
