West Virginia- Wild and Wonderful

The last two weekends have been so nice. Rob's been on chronic pain which is a M-F, no call involved kind of rotation. Sophia and I love these rotations because Daddy is around a whole lot more. We were spoiled over Labor Day weekend when Rob had a 4 day weekend. We took advantage and did a couple of day trips.
Our first stop...

This train track with the beautiful green trees all around is the first thing we saw when we got off of the shuttle bus. Harpers Ferry is a national park that not only has beautiful nature, but a cute little old town to explore.

Sophia loves to give us hugs all day long

We climbed up some steps to find a beautiful old church and we turned around and saw this view of the railroad track.

Sophia found a bed of rocks and this is what she did with them.

We loved exploring all the little nooks and crannies

Then we walked along a foot bridge that ran right along the railroad track. You can see Rob ahead of me taking in the view.

Highlight of the day for Sophia was when we saw the train.

We promised her that before we left she could throw rocks in the river

Absolutely beautiful and amazing. We plan to go back again before we move.

That looks so beautiful. Wish we could've seen that while we were there. There's just so much to see back there. I'm glad you guys are enjoying your last year.
