Bitten

No, I'm not talking about Sarah Jessica Parker's cute, affordable clothing line or something to do with the Twilight Vampire series (although I'd rather be posting about one of those things.) Today Sophia fell down and on her way down bit her tongue. OUCH!!! There was a crying, screaming baby, a mouth full of blood, blood stains all over her clothing and mine, and a scared, anxious, panicking mother! I called my Mom and thank goodness she answered. She had some good, comforting advice.
Poor Sophia is having a hard time eating and drinking now. She's already a picky eater so this new injury is not helping things. The next few days will be very challenging. I hope her tongue heals soon.
