My Dad was in town on business these last two days. Sophia loved spending time with her Grandpa. There was playing,walks, and giggles galore. My Dad and I also spent some time in the kitchen and attempted to make some empanadas. We think they turned out pretty good.

Cruising
So I haven't finished baby proofing. Sophia has found some new "toys" to toss/chuck/throw around. I am continually cleaning up after her. In the last picture she's playing in her new kitchen. Thanks Amelia, she loves it. I'm glad you're boys have out grown it.
Sophia is also getting a lot better at walking. She's been taking about 4 or 5 steps at a time before tumbling or siting down.

She's on the move!
A few days shy of her 11 month mark Sophia figured out how to crawl. She's still a little slow and that's fine with me. She's doing pretty well balancing when standing up, I'm sure walking is not to far off.
Her jack-o-lantern smile will soon come to an end as her second top tooth just came in this last week. She now has 4 total. She has decided to put her all these teeth to use and discovered how to feed herself ( that is put pieces of food in her mouth, still not very good with the spoon.) I was hoping this day would come soon. Now I can finally multi-task during her feedings!
As for her hair.... her luscious locks continue to grow and make her look all the cuter! Catch the clip at the bottom of Sophia in action!

Williamsburg- Busch Gardens Style
After many weeks of intense studying Rob finally took Step 1! He then had a few days off to relax a little before starting his first hospital rotation. Our family took a little trip with some friends to Williamsburg with no intention of seeing anything of historic signifigance, only to play at Busch Gardens and that we did. It is one of the most beautiful theme parks I've been too. I'd call it a cross between Disneyland and Six Flags Magic Mt. The child swap thing worked out great for rides. It was a little on the warm side that day, but Sophia did quite well. We enjoyed spending time with our Daddy and Cory, Lyssa, and Joshy.

Too much fun!
Ashley flew home with me from CA. It was nice to have someone to help with Sophia on the plane. She stayed for a few days so we could play. Rob was finally on break so he and Sophia were able to spend some quality Daddy daughter time while the sisters toured DC. We had a lot of fun. I don't know who wore who out. We defiantly got our exercise in (especially when we ran from the Smithsonian metro to the Washington Monument because we were late for our tour and the time we booked it from Federal Triangle metro to the White House for yet another tour we would be late to!) We also got our shop on! We hit the outlet mall and the knock-off purse vendor on the street! All and all we had a blast. It was fun to have Ashley hang with us for a few days. Our door is always open to you!!! Trying to cool down in front of the Treasury Dept. (yes, those are sprinklers)

We're Back
Sophia and I came back from Ca about a week and a half ago. Sophia is already missing her daily stroller rides to the park with Grandpa, her morning breakfast with Grandma, and her baths just aren't the same without Breeberz. We miss everyone and really enjoyed our time there. My family were the perfect hosts. Thanks for everything! We love you all.
P.S. We were lucky enough to have my sister Ashley fly home with us and spend a few days here sightseeing { that post to come}
